SketchUp
From design
to SketchUp.
SketchUp cannot run inside a website. Instead, your model downloads in formats SketchUp opens.
- DesignChoose shape, rooms, pool and roof in the design studio, or write to the AI assistant.
- Download .daeIn the 3D section the “.dae (SketchUp)” button downloads a COLLADA file in metres. Alternatives: .obj, .stl or .glb.
- Import into SketchUpSketchUp: File › Import › COLLADA (*.dae). Options: units metres, “merge coplanar faces” on. STL via the built-in STL importer (SketchUp 2018+); OBJ via SketchUp Pro 2021+ or an extension.
- Use the plan as an underlayDownload the 2D plan as DXF; SketchUp Pro: File › Import › AutoCAD (*.dwg, *.dxf). Layers: WALL, DOOR, WIN, DIM, TXT.
- Develop and send backSave the .skp and send it from the Upload Project page; add a .dae/.obj for preview.
Other software
The same model. On every desktop.
Revit
Link the DXF via Insert › Link CAD; for 3D use .dae → SketchUp → .skp → import into Revit.
Lumion / D5 / Twinmotion
.dae or .glb import directly; 4K renders and video are produced in these apps (no render server is connected on the site).
Planner 5D / Home Designer
.obj can be imported; use the DXF as a plan underlay.
LogiKal
Use the design-studio brief JSON and aluminium take-off CSV for the window/door list; the LogiKal API is not connected.
